Account Registration Information

Bloomberg Law
  1. Go to
  2. Enter in your information, being sure to use your Penn Law email address. You do not have to enter an activation code.
  3. You will receive a follow-up email from Bloomberg with an activation link to verify your email address.
  4. After you have clicked the activation link, you will receive a second email with your username and temporary password. 

Student accounts will remain active for 6 months following graduation date.

  1. Go to
  2. Enter the authorization code: PENNSYstu164
  3. Use your Penn email address. 

Financial Times Online ( 
  1. Go to Penn Law’s registration page.

  2. Complete form, using your Penn Law email address. 

  3. Receive confirmation email with a link to create your password. 

Note:  Your FT username will be your email address.

After you create your account and password, log in to access content at or on the FT mobile app.

Lexis Advance
  1. Go to
  2. Click the red  button “Register for Lexis Advance”
  3. Enter your name, email, and the code:   c7syqw5
  4. Add information relevant to your  Personal Profile.
  5. Create your ID and password and answer your security questions in your Sign In Profile. 

Student accounts will remain active for 6 months following graduation date.

Lexis Quicklaw (Canada)
  1. Go to:
  2. From the initial registration screen, please fill out your information. Registration code will already be included. Registration code is: 567nk5m
  3. Select your role and then fill out your information (making sure not to change the default language and display preferences).
  4. Create a new and entirely unique Quicklaw ID. You cannot use your Lexis Advance ID.

NOTE: After registering, if you currently have your LA ID/Password saved, when going to the Quicklaw URL (, you will receive an error message that your ID is not authorized. If you click on Return to Sign-In, however, you will now be able to enter their Quicklaw ID. 

New York Times Online (
  1. Go to the Penn Law Group Pass page
  2. Create an account.
  3. Use account credentials to log into NYTimes App or Website

Renew your account after 365 days.

Wall Street Journal  Online ( 
  1. Go to: 
  2. Select Account Type (Student, Staff, Professor).
  3. Enter your first and last name and Penn email address.
  4. Create password, accept terms of use, and click Create.

Washington Post Online (
  1. Go to
  2. Navigate to the top right-hand corner and click “Sign in.”
  3. Click the link “Need an account? Sign Up.”
  4. Complete the form and click “Create My Account” button. You must use your Penn Law email address.
  5. Hover over your account name on homepage, navigate to “Account Settings” > “My Subscriptions” (Tab)
  6. Click “Activate your subscription.”
  7. Check your Penn Law email inbox for the verification email and follow the “Click to Verify” link.

Note: Once you activate the subscription and verify your email, you may need to log out and back into your account for access.

Note for current subscribers: If you are a current subscriber, you must cancel your individual subscription before you can activate the Penn Law subscription. Once canceled, contact the library to have your email added to the Law School subscription – this step can take up to 24 hours. Once notified by the library that you have been added to the group subscription , you do not need to create a new account. Instead, you can change the email address associated with the existing account to your Penn Law email, and follow steps 5-7 above.

Contact Nancy Bellafante ( for your Registration Key. Then follow steps below:

  1. Go to
  2. If you have an existing OnePass profile from your previous school or employment, click Yes. Otherwise click No, under Do you have an existing OnePass profile?*
  3. Enter your Registration Key and email address in the text box and click Continue.
  4. Type the information requested, read the agreement, and click I Agree. You will receive a confirmation message and a follow-up email.

*If you do have an existing OnePass profile from your previous school, please click Yes, enter in your username and password, and then enter in the registration key above and your email address. 

West Academic Study Aids Collection

Creating an account is not required, but an account offers extra functionality.

  1. Go to West Academic Study Aids Homepage 
  2. Click “Create an Account” in the upper right-hand corner, and follow the prompts using your Penn Law email address.
  3. Wait for an email that says your account has been approved (it should only take a few minutes for students, but may take longer for faculty/staff accounts).
  4. Log into your new account on  to access all the additional features.
